Our Privacy Policy

Focusing on Your Family

Your privacy as a member of the Let’s Read community is extremely important to 4X4 Studios, LLC ("4x4 Studios"). We are committed to protecting you and your family’s private use of the content on Let’s Read. This private, family network is one of the features that differentiates this app from other Educational and Reading apps. In addition, protecting your family’s privacy is one of the core values of our company. As a result, our privacy policy was defined to clarify the information we collect, how we use this data to improve the user experience, and how we protect the privacy of the members of the Let’s Read community.

Secure Private Family Network

When the design team started working on ways to share a recorded version of a story on Let’s Read, we quickly realized that you needed to feel totally confident that your personalized content would only be accessible by your family or the people you invite to become a member of your family network.

As a result, no other users of Let’s Read, outside of your family network members will be able to access or view the video or audio recordings that you created. You and your children can share your stories without any concern that a random, unknown person will be watching your stories or making comments about the content you created.

Your Network

When you subscribe to Let’s Read, the primary subscriber will serve as the network administrator to set up and manage each private, secure family network. So the subscriber who sets up the account is also the only person who can invite or remove family and friends from your private network.

Please note, when you add more members than your current subscription is set up to accommodate, you will receive a message about the status of the invitation. At that point, you’ll need to decide whether to remove a member so the new person can join or simply keep the network as it is currently configured. Soon, we’ll offer premium options that will give you the ability to add additional members to your basic family network plan.
